It was Kilts and Lucky Lasses Weekend at the Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow! From the Highland Champions to the archers of Sherwood Forest – be thee Scot, Welsh, Cornish, Irish, English, leprechaun, elfin, or faery – all were welcome and left a lasting impression for years to come.
The Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow kicked off the first weekend in September, and patrons enjoyed three full days of the themed Viking and Shieldmaidens Weekend. Artisans filled the marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted wares, and patrons interacted with dozens of memorable characters roaming the village streets. Live armored jousting captured everyone’s attention, and there were plenty of family-friendly activities. Huzzah!
